Helle Kammern

In <Helle Kammern> transparent objects have been laid out on an illuminated film. They are casts made from the light shafts of photo cameras, the spaces between object and film or sensor. These chambers are crucial to the creation of the picture and are usually invisible. They are opened only briefly to allow different amounts of light to create an image. Here the artist is using the camera not to make photographs but to create sculptures out of these empty spaces.
